About these terms

These terms apply when you visit properorigin.com, use our checkout at checkout.properorigin.com, or buy from us. Proper Origin is a brand of SpotieOtie LLC, based in Houston, Texas (“Proper Origin,” “we,” “us”). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Shipping & Returns policy.

You must be at least 18 years old to buy from us.

Our products and your health

Our products are dietary supplements. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and the statements on our site and labels have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.

Nothing on our site is medical advice. Please read every label before use and take our products only as directed. Talk to your doctor before starting any supplement if you are pregnant or nursing, take medication, have a medical condition, or are scheduled for surgery. Stop using a product and speak with a doctor if you have a reaction. Keep all supplements out of the reach of children. Everyone is different, so individual results vary.

Orders, prices and availability

When you place an order, you’re making an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it. We may limit quantities, or cancel an order if a product becomes unavailable, if we suspect fraud, or if a price or description was clearly wrong. If we cancel an order you’ve paid for, we’ll refund you in full.

Prices are in U.S. dollars and can change at any time, but a change never affects an order you’ve already placed. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. We work to show our products, labels and Supplement Facts accurately. If a label on our site ever differs from the product you receive, the label on the product is the one to follow.

We currently sell and ship only to the 48 contiguous United States and Washington, D.C.

Subscribe & Save

Subscribe & Save is an automatically renewing subscription. When you choose it:

• Price. Each delivery is charged at 10% off our one-time purchase price for that product, plus any shipping and tax. Your first order is charged when you check out.
• Frequency. Each product ships on the schedule shown when you subscribe: every month, every 50 days or every 100 days depending on the product. Your next order date is in your account.
• Automatic charges. We charge the payment method on file for each delivery until you cancel. If we change your subscription price, we’ll tell you before it applies so you can decide whether to continue.
• Cancel any time. There’s no minimum commitment. You can skip, reschedule or cancel online from your account, or by emailing support@properorigin.com. Changes made before your next order date apply to that order.

Shipping, returns and our guarantee

How we ship, our order protection and our 100% satisfaction guarantee are set out in our Shipping & Returns policy, which is part of these terms. Once your order is handed to the carrier, it’s yours, but if it’s lost or damaged on the way we’ll still make it right as that policy explains.

Your account

Customer accounts are provided through Shopify. Please keep your login details private and let us know if you think someone else has used your account. You’re responsible for orders placed through it.

Using our site

Everything on this site, including our name, logos, product designs, photographs and words, belongs to Proper Origin or the people who license it to us. You’re welcome to browse, share links and print pages for your own use. Please don’t copy or reuse our content commercially without our written permission.

Please don’t misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, scrape it, get into accounts or systems that aren’t yours, or use it for anything unlawful.

If you send us reviews, photos, ideas or feedback, you let us use, edit and share them, including in our marketing, without payment. We’ll never present a review as something you didn’t say.

Our site links to and relies on services run by others, such as Shopify for checkout and Meta for social media. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

Disclaimers and limits on liability

We stand behind our products as described in our guarantee. Beyond that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, the site and our products are provided “as is,” without other warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Proper Origin will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our products, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved. Some states don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Disputes and governing law

If you’re ever unhappy, please email us first. Most problems are solved quickly that way, and we’ll give every concern a genuine try for at least 30 days before either of us takes it further.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that we can’t resolve together will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it somewhere else.

Changes and contact
